Why does an “innocent” young girl get death, and her ‘proven’ killer get life and his lawyer gets rich?

Question by martin: Why does an “innocent” young girl get death, and her ‘proven’ killer get life and his lawyer gets rich?
Our system is so ridiculously out of whack. A —proven— killer should get death and in the fastest, cheapest way. I am so sick of paying taxes for lawyers who get rich off of defending —proven— killers.

I’m with you. Once proven guilty, with dna, they should be publicly hung.
