My fiance got a DUI. BAC (Blood test) was .13 (almost twice the legal limit in California)…?

Question by Laura G: My fiance got a DUI. BAC (Blood test) was .13 (almost twice the legal limit in California)…?
He has a Class A, B and C license. His JOB depends on him winning his case against DMV and against the county. This is his first offense. What are the chances that it will be dismissed by DMV AND by the county, or wind up with an acquittal.
Also, if we cannot get the charges dropped completely, what are the chances of getting it reduced to a “Wet and reckless” and what kind of penalties are included with that charge? Would he still be able to keep his drivers license? We DO have a DUI lawyer. Please be as informative as possible when answering this question! Thanks!

Question by amy: my ex is 6800 behind in child support, and is contempt twice i have a lawyer and he has been cosulting one.?
we went to court last week but the stupid judge rescheduled because my ex’s “lawyer”, thats not even on record as being his lawyer, said the case would take 3 hours to hear. the judge didnt even set another court date and went on to the next case! i went yesterday to talk with my lawyer who said they wanted to go thru the district attorneys office. why is that? and whats my exs advantage to that? also he said he would have to set up another court date with his “lawyer” and they would have to agree to go to court. This sounds stupid to me, he is contempt why cant he be ordered to go to court and be put in jail!

Are you out for revenge or looking to get money to support your child. Why would you want him put in jail? How much can he earn in there? How much of that money that he can’t earn in jail will you ever see?
